The Nike Air Penny 5 feature design elements from the classic Penny Hardway signature sneaker, including a leather upper with Foamposite overlay, Phylon midsole, Air Sole unit in the heel, Zoom Air unit in the forefoot, and "1 Cent" on the tongue and heel brand. The Nike Air Penny 5 also feature a lightweight upper with breathable mesh, an Air-Sole unit in the heel, a translucent outsole, heel pull tab, bootie and a bold 'Penny' logo. The outsole of the Nike Air Penny 5 is a blend of two rubbers: solid and translucent.
