Nike Air Zoom Spiridon
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon debuted in 1997 as part of Nike's groundbreaking line of Zoom-based performance running shoes. The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon women's sneaker takes its name from Spiridon Louis, winner of the first Olympic marathon in 1896. This Air Zoom Spiridon sneaker is the first to feature a mesh upper and a pod cage Zoom setup. Additionally, this Spiridon sneaker features Phylon and Duralon. The Spiridon was recreated in 2017 as the NikeLab Air Zoom Spiridon.
